Terms of service

Services are provided by JuriPro, subject to a conflict check and acceptance of the engagement. The proposal or service agreement defines the applicable scope.

Fees

30-minute consultation: $50. Demand letter: $295. Shareholders’ agreement: from $550, based on a proposal. Starting a business consultation: $50 for 30 minutes. All amounts are in Canadian dollars, before taxes.

Demand letter: inclusions and exclusions

The package includes a 30-minute call, review of the matter, drafting and signature by a lawyer on firm letterhead, and delivery by registered mail or secure email with proof of sending.

The package does not include negotiation after sending, a second letter, service by bailiff, additional recipients or court proceedings. Review of the matter is included. Additional document review, when needed and authorized, is offered at $15 per page.

Scope of other services

The consultation includes a review of options and a written summary of next steps. For documents, included discussions and revisions, delivery arrangements and timing are specified in the engagement. Negotiations, court proceedings and additional services require a separate agreement. An additional language version carries fees agreed in advance.

Timing and acceptance

The first draft of a demand letter is expected in approximately one week after the complete file is received and the engagement is accepted. Timing is confirmed before work begins. No particular outcome is guaranteed. If JuriPro cannot accept the matter, fees paid for that service are refunded in full.
