Professional fees are shown in Canadian dollars before applicable taxes. Any additional costs are explained before you commit.
What does the $50 consultation include?
A 30-minute meeting with a lawyer, a review of your options and a written summary of next steps. Additional work requires a separate agreement.
What does the $295 demand letter include?
The package includes a 30-minute call, review of the matter, drafting and signature by a lawyer on firm letterhead, and delivery by registered mail or secure email with proof of sending.
What is excluded from the demand letter package?
The package does not include negotiation after sending, a second letter, service by bailiff, additional recipients or court proceedings. Review of the matter is included. Additional document review, when needed and authorized, is offered at $15 per page.
How long does a demand letter take?
The first draft is expected in approximately one week after we receive the complete file and accept the engagement. We confirm timing with you. The agreed delivery follows your approval; delivery times are separate.
Why does an agreement start at $550?
The $550 starting price covers two shareholders in a standard structure with one share class, one 30-minute call, one consolidated revision round and one language. Additional needs are priced in a proposal before the engagement.
Can we work in French or English?
Yes. The engagement covers one language. An additional language version is priced separately and requires your agreement.
